imagine if we could press on a line that was said by a character, we would be taken directly to that exact line in the translation, then, if we were to press on the line of that translation, it would take us right back to the original French line of that character that we initially read....

this would be soooooo convenient !!! I find myself skipping around a lot as I’m trying to completely figure out the grammar and to do so, often need the exact translation to be sure!

not sure if it is possible, though! Just an idea :-)

Hm I like this idea. It depends how people study of course, the translation can become a ‘crutch’ for many students.

The way I can think of doing it is ‘interlinear’, with the translation (and notes!) directly under each sentence. Substack means I would offer it as a seperate mini-newsletter: same newsletter, different format—perhaps for more advanced students.
