I’m Amélie, the writer of French with Amélie, where I teach you French through conversational dialogues. Today I’ve some exciting news to share: fill-in-the-blank exercises are coming to the newsletter! 🥳

I started French with Amélie because I wanted to help people learn French in a fun, engaging, and interactive way. I truly believe that language learning should be more than just memorizing vocabulary lists and grammar rules.
Instead, I strive to make our lessons come alive through relatable dialogues and scenarios that you can use in real-life situations.
To make the newsletter even more engaging and interactive, I’m adding fill-in-the-blank exercises. Great for all levels and learners, these will help you reinforce your understanding of the language, and provide a quick opportunity for self-assessment.
Here’s how it works:
💬 In each issue, you'll now be invited to go to the comment section where I will post 5 fill-in-the-blank exercises using vocabulary from that day’s dialogue.
📝 Your task is to fill in the blanks with the correct French word/phrase from that day. And then comment your answer! This way, you can gauge your progress and identify areas where you need more practice.
I’m confident that the addition of fill-in-the-blank exercises will make French with Amélie even more enjoyable and beneficial for you, my dear readers.
